ASU women's basketball falls in rout to Oregon State

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Ruth Hamblin had 16 points, eight rebounds and seven blocked shots as Oregon State rolled over No. 20 Arizona State 66-43 on Sunday. Oregon State (21-9, 13-5 Pac 12) shot 52 percent and made all seven of its throws. Syndey Wiese added 15, Ali Gibson had 13 and Deven Hunter 11 points (4 of 4 field goals, 3 of 3 free throws).

The No. 3 Arizona State softball team suffered its second loss of the season Sunday, falling 3-2 to No. 19 Minnesota in the Louisville Slugger Invitational at Farrington Stadium. Dallas Escobedo (7-2) took the loss for the Sun Devils, allowing three earned runs and seven hits in seven innings, striking out eight. Sara Moulton (10-1) picked up the victory for Minnesota.
