No. 7/7 Boston College lacrosse team defeated the University of Southern California, 13-10, on Thursday afternoon at McAlister Field.The Eagles (5-1, 1-1 ACC) were led by senior captain Moira Barry who notched three goals in the contest. Fellow captain Brooke Blue and junior Mikaela Rix each tallied two goals while Sarah Mannelly, Covie Stanwick, Kate McCarthy, Tess Chandler, Cali Ceglarski, and Caroline Margolis all added a goal.

Baseball. Baseball Falls to Florida Atlantic, 6-2

The Boston College baseball team lost, 6-2, to Florida Atlantic on Wednesday evening at FAU Baseball Stadium. The Eagles (6-6) dropped both games of the series to the Owls (10-3) as they could not drive in the runners left on base.

Noble and Greenough star Miles Wood committed to BC Wednesday. One of the top uncommitted players available, Wood selected BC over BU and Brown.The Women's Basketball team didn't last long in the ACC Tournament. Virginia won the opener 74-59. The Eagles dropped the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader to the University of Central Florida, 9-1, but bounced back with a 5-0 victory over Jacksonville in the second game. In the game against Jacksonville, freshman Taylor Coroneos pitched a complete-game, three-hit shutout to earn the victory in her first collegiate start at pitcher.

The Boston College women's basketball team ended the season with a, 74-59, loss to the 10th-seeded Virginia Cavaliers on Wednesday afternoon in the first round of the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Freshman Andie Anastos was named to the Pro Ambitions All-Rookie team, junior Emily Pfalzer earned the WHEA Best Defenseman Award, senior Taylor Wasylk was tabbed Gladiator Best Defensive Forward and graduate student Corinne Boyles earned Hockey East Goaltending Champion accolades, as announced by Hockey East on Wednesday.

W. Ice Hockey. Women's Hockey to Face UVM in WHEA Semifinals

Bosotn College is 6-7 all time in the Women's Hockey East Tournament. The Eagles have captured one title (2011), have finished second twice, and reach the semifinals seven times. Kelli Stack was named Most Valuable Player when the Eagles won their only championship. Last season, BC fell to Northeastern 4-1 in the semifinals. Vermont is 0-1 all-time at the WHEA tournament, and has not won a title.

M. Tennis. Men's Tennis Sweeps San Diego Mesa College, 7-0

The Boston College men's tennis team swept San Diego Mesa College, 7-0, on Monday afternoon at Mesa.Philip Nelson secured wins at the No. 1 spot in singles and doubles play. He and partner Aiden McNulty beat Mesa's team of James Tenbroek and Christopher Bastardi, 8-4.
