I went to Cal Pro Day at Memorial Stadium today. The weather in Strawberry Canyon was just fantastic so that made for a pleasant morning. JO made a list of participants. Jahvid did not participate in any of the activities. They started with the 40 yard dash. The scouts were using stopwatches to time everything, and several spectators in the crowd were also timing with their phones and comparing times. A whole lot less accurate than the slow motion video the NFL combine uses for the official time

Tajuan Porter scored 32 points and eighth-seeded Oregon (16-15) outlasted No. 9 Washington State 82-80 in overtime and will face Cal in Thursday’s quarterfinal-round Pac-10 tournament game.
Porter scored eight of the Ducks’ 10 points in overtime, including two go-ahead free throws with 35 seconds left. The senior guard’s point total equaled the fourth-highest in Pac-10 tournament history.

Cal announced some major reshuffling of its 2010 schedule today, most notably moving the Big Game from Dec. 4 to Nov. 20 and changing its game at Nevada from Sept. 18 to Sept. 17.

The No. 13 California softball team posted a perfect 5-0 record at last weekend's Eller Media Stadium Classic, outscoring their opponents, 39-3. The Golden Bears will try and improve their 16-4 overall record at this weekend's California Tournament at Levine-Fricke Field. Cal begins its weekend with a 3 p.m. Friday game against East Carolina and will play Fullerton on Saturday before closing with a doubleheader versus Davis on Sunday.
