OL Alex Mack is the "no. 1 priority" for the Browns
First-year coach of the Cleveland Browns, Mike Pettine, has determined OL Alex Mack is a must-keep player for his program, using the transition tag on the Cal center.
The Browns have designated Pro Bowl center Alex Mack as their transition player for 2014, meaning they have five days to match any offer for Mack.
If Mack plays under the tag, he would receive a guaranteed $10.039 million for 2014, the average of the top 10 offensive linemen

One play that stands out in my mind in particular was the Ohio State touchdown bomb, which if my memory suits me well, was on their first offensive series. For me, that particular play was an indicator of sorts. From that moment on I knew that our pass defense would be an area of immense struggle. Things only got worse when injuries started to pile up.
Hopefully, next year the Bea

If you could diagnose what has gone wrong with Cal basketball the last year, what would you say are the biggest factors?
Scott Chong: This has been one of the more confounding years of Cal bball. Taking the macro view, Monty has the guys competitive and relevant. 'Can't say that over the Braun era and before.
But looking at the players themselves, senior PG, C, veteran PF and swingman...best recruiting class of the Monty era...and you'd have to say that the team has underachieved relative
