Bracketology 2014: Cal men's basketball watches the bubble

We're still in. For now. Here's where the California Golden Bears stand going into the final week of the 2014 regular season, bracket-wise. They're still in. For the most part. But that edge is so narrow that it doesn't seem like it would take all that much Cal wins, and they're in. Cal loses, and they might still be in. Cal loses out? Anything goes, but how does a one seed in the NIT sound? So many more home games and leg room! Chris Dobbertean, SB Nation: Dobbertean puts Cal in the 11 s

Cal MBB vs Utah 2014: A 908-word Q & A with BlockU

To close off the regular season, Cal defends home court against the Utah Utes. JazzyUte of BlockU, SBNation's Utah Utes community, weighs in in this edition of the Q & A. 1. I think it's obvious Utah is playing different compared to last year - at least at home. They're one of the best home teams in the country and that's given them the win

Previewing Utah: Can Bears stop the bleeding?

Two years removed from perhaps the worst season in program history, Larry Krystkowiak and the Utes are looking to finish with 20 wins and a .500 record in Pac-12 play. But in terms of talent and actual ability, they are right there with any of the various flawed teams currently on t
