No Joel Embiid, no problem.Kansas senior Tarik Black finished with a season-high 19 points and six rebounds as No. 8 Kansas rolled to an 82-57 victory over Texas Tech on senior night at Allen Fieldhouse.It was Kansas’ first game without Embiid, a freshman center who will sit out KU’s final two regular-season games while recovering from a lower-back strain. It wasn't the best news, of course, as Kansas prepares for the postseason. Read more

Tarik Black packed plenty of production into the first half on Wednesday, scoring 11 points as No. 8 Kansas took a 39-19 lead over Texas Tech at halftime at Allen Fieldhouse. Black, who replaced injured center Joel Embiid in the Jayhawks' starting lineup, was a perfect five of five from the floor in the half.

Bria Holmes scored 16 points to lead No. 7 West Virginia to a 67-60 victory over Kansas on Tuesday night for a share of the Big 12 women’s championship.The title for West Virginia (27-3, 16-2 Big 12) is its first since 1991-92 when it was in the Atlantic 10.
