UNC said in the statement that it also is trying to establish the eligibility of three other players, but it did identify those players by name. Four players, in addition to the other 12 named, were not seen getting on a team bus this morning: defensive starters Quan Sturdivant (LB), Bruce Carter (LB) and Deunta Williams (S) and running back Johnny White.

WHAT A NIGHT! Too bad about the Wannstache, but at least TULANE FAILED TO COVER THE SPREAD ON 1-AA SELA!
No confirmation of UNC WR Greg Little or any other players besides Marvin Austin being left behind. But they do have to board the bus sometime today, and I'm sure we'll here more as the day goes on. I'll try to refrain from posting rumors during the day, but If you think we've missed one, please feel f

AP Source: UNC's Little won't travel for LSU game -SI.com
"Little, a senior, was one of six players to decide in January that he would return to Chapel Hill instead of entering the NFL draft. He is North Carolina's top receiver, dealing a significant blow to an offense that was already considered a question mark compared to a defense loaded with NFL prospects."
And there goes Yates' main target. Seriously, we'll need to blow'em out just to stay respectable now

There is no question that the availability of key North Carolina players for this game due to NCAA investigation will affect the quality of personnel that North Carolina puts on the field. It has also been a preparation distraction for the Tar Heels as well. We know for sure that defensive tackle Marvin has been suspended indefinitely by head coach Butch Davis
and will miss the LSU game.

Whenever LSU runs its first play from the I-formation against North Carolina on Saturday night, one Tigers player will reach a personal goal. Four years ago, a senior center at Baker High School had the desire of playing football at LSU. However, there was one problem. James Stampley was a 5-foot-10, 220-pound offensive lineman. An individual with that height and weight doesn't get the chance to perform in the Southeastern Conference.
