Three student-athletes will represent the Mizzou track and field program at the 2010 NCAA Indoor National Championships set for this weekend in Fayetteville, Ark., as announced by the NCAA Monday night (March 8). Nick Adcock (Kansas City, Mo.) and Lars Rise (Trondheim, Norway) will represent the Tiger men at the Championships while Shannon Leinert (Eureka, Mo.) will run for the Tiger women. Competition at the championships will begin Friday (March 12) at 10 a.m.

Missouri sophomore guard Kim English added to his growing list of awards on Tuesday, as he was named to the United States Basketball Writers Association All-District VI team. English is the third Tiger named to the team over the past two seasons, joining DeMarre Carroll and Leo Lyons who were named All-District in 2009.

Although Missouri is safely in the field, a lot will be determined this week in regard to its seeding.
In my latest bracketology, I have Missouri at a No. 8 seed. But a lot could change depending on how the Big 12 tournament plays out and how other teams perform during Championship Week.
The way I see it, the bubble is down to seven available spots. Here's how it all adds up in my eyes:

Missouri turned in a score of 290 in the first round of the UNLV Spring Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev. and stand in fourth place. Mizzou is one shot behind third place Ball State and five back of second place Idaho.

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Big 12 Conference has named senior All-American Sarah Shire (Columbia, Mo.) the Big 12 Gymnast of the Week for the third straight week. It is the sixth time this season the honor has gone to Shire. She now has 13 Gymnast of the Week awards to her name.
