Murrell Visits Patriots

The Patriots hosted Jets RFA (now UFA) Marques Murrell on Monday according to Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston. It appears the interest between the Jets and wide receiver Laveranues Coles is mutual. Coles was released by the Bengals last...

Former Jets S Kerry Rhodes made his debut in Arizona today, facing the media in his first news conference. "I've got a lot of respect for those guys -- they gave me my start and they gave me a big deal to stay around for awhile -- but we just didn't mesh well

I certainly hope the Jets have some plan in place because right now the 2009 team is falling apart at the seams. According to Rich Cimini, Wallace Wright has decided to go home and sign on with the Carolina Panthers. This comes after Wright, a special teams standout, was not offered a contract by the FO.   Former [...]

So who’s going to be the new safety for the Jets now with the team having traded Kerry Rhodes? Hutch thinks it’s Eric Smith, at least as it stands right now. Jets re-up with Hartsock

The Jets kept one of their own unrestricted free agents today, signing TE Ben Hartsock to a two-year contract, a source told the Daily News. The amount of the deal wasn't immediately available.
