After scoring the low round of the day Wednesday, Northwestern moved up to the top spot at the 2014 Hurricane Invitational to finish first in the 17-team field. The Wildcats, who entered the final round in second place, fired a 6-over 290 on Wednesday to surpass Iowa State for the tournament title.

Four Wildcat underclassmen picked up All-Big Ten honors as the conference announced its annual postseason awards today (March 3). Freshman forward Nia Coffey earned First Team All-Big Ten distinction in her first season at Northwestern as she was selected to the 11-player team by the conference coaches. Additionally, Coffey also received Second Team All-Big Ten honors from the media and was named to the five-player All-Freshman Team.
