Ohio State Begins to Worry About Miami after Defeating Marshall Soundly Ohio State played Marshall on Thursday night to kick off their 2010 season and won convincingly (45-7) after allowing the Thundering Herd to only score on a blocked kick. The Buckeyes now start to prepare for the Miami Hurricanes who also played Thursday night. There was some concern that the Buckeyes might be looking past Marshall but the Conference USA team did present an equal match with OSU playing backup lines early an

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Buckeyes made quick work out of Marshall on Thursday evening with a 45-7 win in front of a sellout crowd. The path will get tougher starting next week with the Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes coming to Columbus (Ohio) but now it is time to break down the tape and see what went right and what needs work during the nine days of prep. Buckeye fans experienced no such aftertaste in the 121st season opener againt Marshall, thrashing the [...]

"As I watched several one-sided games tonight, one thing stood out: no pass rush from the weak teams against the good teams. It pretty much sums up Mr. Pryor's night. Not saying he can't do it under pressure, just saying don't go crazy over a few good passes from a QB with absolutely no pressure on him." - wahoojoyce

If there was any lingering thoughts that Tyler Moeller would not be his previous hard-hitting self when he stepped onto the field on Thursday, they were erased in the third quarter of Ohio State's 45-7 victory over Marshall. That's when Moeller laid one of the night's biggest hits on quarterback Brian Anderson and showed that he is indeed back.

Brandon Saine gave Terrelle Pryor a run for his money, but the Ohio State quarterback just kept on making big pass plays. Picking up where he left off in the Rose Bowl win over Oregon, Pryor was 17-of-25 passing for 247 yards and three touchdowns.
