The Nittany Lions started Day 1 of testing on Monday which included the 40-yard dash followed by the bench press. Tuesday they will complete NFL combine-style agility drills and the broad jump and vertical leap followed by power cleans. Wednesday is max out day for squats and the winter program wraps up Friday. But, Dwight Galt will keep the players lifting through spring ball as well.

With the second and final round in the books before the "playoff round" begins, the Penn State women's golf team locked up their spot in the championship flight slated for Tuesday morning. The Nittany Lions posted a second round score of 303, which moved them up two spots to fifth place. "We are happy to be playing good right out of the gate, not having had any time outside," said head coach Denise St. Pierre. "I feel they are doing pretty well."
