On the way home from Tempe (yes I'm a glutton for punishment) I got to thinking, "has there ever been a worse shooting Bruin that has been allowed to jack up as many threes as Rags this season?" When I got home, I checked the numbers as far back as I could (unfortunately that was just 14 years, so these stats will encompass the CBH and Lizard eras). Baseball America Lavishes Praise On UCLA & Pac-10
"'Right now it seems like the only team out here playing to their capabilities is UCLA,' one area scout said."

The No. 15 UCLA baseball team (9-0) hosts UC Riverside (7-4) on Tuesday under the lights at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Game time is 6 p.m. and admission for adults and youth is just $2 on Tuesday evenings. UCLA's nine-game win streak is the program's longest since 1982.

Sophomore right-hander Gerrit Cole has been invited to the 2010 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Trials, as announced Monday by USA Baseball. Cole went 4-0 with a 1.06 ERA for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team in the summer of 2009.
