Baseball. 1972 National Championship Team To Be Honored Saturday...

Saturday May 19, the 1972 USC National Championship Team will be honored before the Trojans game against Arizona at Dedeaux Field. The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. The game will follow at 2 p.m.as senior Andrew Triggs takes on the Wildcats starter Konor Wade.

Future Impact: Justin Davis [$]

Riding a wave of recruiting momentum, USC received a verbal commitment from four-star running back Justin Davis Thursday evening. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Army All-American from Stockton (Calif.) chose the Trojans from a list of finalists that included Cal and Washington.

Agau, Mathews among fast risers

Trojans Stack Backs [$]

Stockton (Calif.) junior running back Justin Davis is ready to come out swinging for USC in 2013. As the Trojans look for a one-two punch of running backs in the 2013 class, Davis's commitment to USC Thursday is an uppercut for the recruiting rankings. Having unofficially visit Washington, Cal, UCLA, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Army All-American did what he has been preparing to do since end of March.

Justin Davis is a Trojan

USC picked up commit No. 7 on Thursday with Stockton (Calif.) junior four-star running back Justin Davis. Davis is the second four-star running back and Rivals100 player to commit to the Trojans this week, following Ty Isaac's pledge to attend USC on Tuesday.

Masina plans busy schedule

Uaea Masina has gotten out this spring at numerous 7on7 tournament and made a name for himself and the Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton outside linebacker now has his first offer from Utah.

Future Impact: Ty Isaac [$]

USC's already stellar 2013 recruiting class received a huge addition on Tuesday as Ty Isaac, a highly-sought 6-foot-3, 215-pound running back from Joliet (Ill.) Catholic High School, gave a verbal commitment to the Trojans, choosing them over Michigan and Notre Dame, among others. Isaac, currently a four-star recruit, is ranked by Rivals as the second best running back in the country and the eighteenth best player overall.

Still early for Ross

John Ross wants to take some unofficial visits this off-season and some official trips during his senior year before making his commitment but the Long Beach (Calif.) Jordan is taking things one step at a time.

Cox excited about new interest

Brandon Cox is excited because he's hearing from many new programs and the Pasadena, Calif., dual-threat quarterback doesn't plan to make his decision anytime soon.

Thursday evening from his home in Stockton (Calif.) four-star running back Justin Davis will make one college football fan base very happy. No lights, no camera, no media hype. Davis, who rushed for 2,380 yards and 36 touchdowns last year, is ready to announce his college commitment.

Four emerge for Pagano

Baseball. Trojans Fall 11-1 To No. 14 Wildcats

LOS ANGELES - The USC baseball team lost its ninth consecutive game in an 11-1 loss to No. 14 Arizona Friday night at Dedeaux Field. The Trojans fall to 22-26 (7-18 Pac-12) on the season while the Wildcats improve to 35-15 (17-8 Pac-12).

M. Tennis. Daniel Nguyen Picks Up Academic All-District Honors...

While in hot pursuit of a fourth straight NCAA Team Championship with his Trojan teammates, USC senior Daniel Nguyen has also picked up accolades for his strength in the classroom this week. Nguyen has been selected to the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District men's at-large team as one of the top tennis talents in the nation while also carrying a 3.43 GPA as a communication major at USC.
